Michalis, a victim of the Armenian Genocide, lives in Greece, with memories driving him crazy. The images of what he lived unfold in front of him and his mind gallops and leaves to the East, to the royal lands of his homeland, to be among his family, to see again the slaughter of his own faces, to see man to becomes savage and succeeds against the innocent.
He can not forget the day when he looked helplessly at the gorge of death and saw his loved ones lying lifeless on the ground. He remembers how he set out, with a burning soul, for another state, south of the Aly River, looking for a ray of new life that would sweeten his existence. And he found her in her face. Romia, a teacher in her place, lived in a highly religious environment and in a house with patriarchal customs.
He reacted when they tried to side with the man of different origin and faith. But how wrong he was! Because, even though Michalis' heart was broken, he gave her his unconditional love and cyclamen grew in their two hands.
